An examination of the environmental and landscape art of several Australian quiltmakers will appear in the Spring 2009 issue of Surface Design Journal.

Mathers Museum of World Cultures
Also underway is an article presenting the results of an empirical study of a pre-Columbian Peruvian textile sampler in the collection of the Mathers Museum of World Cultures at Indiana University. The study group is led by the museum’s Curator of Collections and includes textile scholars and artists.
